Curt, almost bordering rude emails from staff, who have no basic manners or courtesy. In fact, I'm wondering whether the whole set up is run by just a couple of people, because it's the same people responding every time, with the same terse responses, whilst not addressing any of the complainant's concerns, Would it be too much trouble for them to pick up the telephone and have a conversation with a complainant, explaining their decisions? Of course it would. An email not providing any insight or helpful advice with very little regard for complainant is equivalent to providing no service at all. Even when it is proven data has been breached, the ICO do nothing about it, as 'it's up to them' whether they penalise the organisation - as one member of staff informed me. Unbelievable (but not surprising) waste of taxpayers' money. Just like every single governmental ombudsman. Deserves a 'zero' score.
