I purchased an HP Spectre Foldable laptop from Hewlett Packard in October 2023. I paid approximately $5,000 which is very expensive and I also paid for a 3 year warranty. It was very expensive; but in general it has been a great computer. I especially like that it is very light, easy to carry because it folds small - almost the size of an IPad - but it's foldable touch screen opens to 17 inches. My eyesight is not great and therefore this large a screen is wonderful for me to use. It also has an incredibly powerful and good quality speakers for a small foldable notebook. The problem is that this past June the screen developed a green line about 1/4 inch wide covering a section of the screen and I could not read any wording covered by this line. They tried over the phone to cure this problem but they could not do so.HP then promised in June to send me a new computer to replace this one that has a defective screen. I, promised to return the old computer once they sent me the new one. They took my charge card number to make sure I returned the old computer once I received the new one. Letters have gone back and forth and each time HP promises to send me a new computer to replace mine; but HP has never honored their warranty and has never sent me the new computer they promised me.Garett Backman
