I have booked a number of times with hotels.com and not had any issue however, this time I am beyond disgusted and will never book with them again. I booked my hotel, found a better price, so followed through with their price match guarantee. Initially it was declined, but eventually they agreed that yes there was a lower price and that I would be credited the difference to my account within 72 hours of my stay ($300+). It has now been almost 4 months since check out, multiple emails have been sent , and I just kept getting blown off. Apparently they are still ‘working on it and will be in touch’. Quite frankly I think they are hoping I will disappear and give up. Never again. Their customer service is beyond appalling. If the company can’t keep its promises then don’t make them in the first place!
