I was looking for a plumber and HA could only match me with 1 plumber 30 miles from my home, LOL, I live 5 miles outside a major city! I'm sure there is more than 1. But ok. I waited 3 days and got an email asking how my project was going, clicked on "they never reached out to me" Later i get a text from the contractor asking if i was still in need and i replied yes and asked when we could talk. He said he would swing by "tomorrow" and i replied asking for a time frame. Chirp, chirp. The next day I replied again stating i was flexible but needed a time so i could arrange my day around him. Chirp, Chirp! Waited all day and then I cancelled the job and wrote a review on HA stating above. They never posted it. I reached out to HomeAdvisor and asked why it was not visible. They said they only post negative reviews if you actually hire the contractor and pay them. That is CrAzY! So if a contractor gives you stupid crazy quotes, does multiple no shows for estimates (like my case), or any number of other issues they wont post the review. I want to know what folks think that did not hire as much as those who did.
