Hilton Resort BarbadosFantastic location with the politest staff I’ve ever come across. The rooms were immaculate. And the lady who cleaned our room (Marcia I think?) deserves a medal - that shower and the floors were bleach cleaned daily. The place was spotless. Great job. The food is somewhat limited, but the bar meals are very good. A little on the expensive side, the Grill restraunt is fine if you want a steak with all the trimmings - but the burger in the bar is far better and cheaper. Good pools, well kept. Would like them a little cleaner, as the wind blows a lot of crap in to them during the day. In no way the hotels fault however. Maybe an afternoon clean of floating rubbish??Taxis are cheap to get to Bridgetown ($25 Barbados) or to St Lawrence Gap (go there and get into Cafe Sol for awesome Mexican food!) for about the same rate. Can’t wait to return however, and that’s mainly down to the staff. Well done everyone at Barbados Hilton - from front desk, to waiting staff and baggage assistance.
