Due to Guitar Centers lack of changing any policies or guidelines about how used guitars brought in to the store and pictured I was sold a counterfeit Washburn Dime guitar. These guitars sell quick so I purchased it with no pictures but called to get some. Never received the pictures because it was packed up. Granted I purchased one day shipping and before their usual cut off time but the guitar didn’t ship out same day. When I received the guitar it was obvious it was a counterfeit. Luckily I sent it back and got a refund but unfortunately I lost out on the 10% on used guitars sale over $499 that was happening online. Unfortunately I feel like no effort was made to really restore faith after this purchase. No offer of a discount code to make up for what I lost due to their error. Nothing. Even when they have been informed of more counterfeits they remain up for sale on their site. Even after contacting the customer service they refuse to respond.
