beware of 1 year 'free subscription'

I've bought a new gopro every couple of generations and they've just lost a customer for life over $70. Their no-refund policy on auto-renewed subscriptions is a classic bait and switch1. who reads all the terms and service2. who remembers they even have a subscription that they've never used until they see the charge on their credit card?their customer support portal is also horrible - the online chat doesn't work and they do not respond to emails.
