We had purchased a Sagrada Familia tour package including access to the towers, priced at €109 per person (a total of four people). We booked well in advance specifically to ensure access to the towers – this was the main and only reason we chose this particular package.Unfortunately, on the day of our visit, we were not allowed to access the towers, even though they were open and operating as usual. This was not due to force majeure or any technical issue – it was simply a case of the service not being provided as promised.My dissatisfaction grew further when we were offered a refund of just €10 per person. At the same time, a standard guided tour of Sagrada Familia (without tower access) is currently available for €50 or less per person, which makes the offered refund unfair and unreasonable given we paid €109.Since our decision to book this specific package was entirely based on the inclusion of tower access, we believe a fair partial refund would have been appropriate. However, after extensive correspondence, GYG (GetYourGuide) refused to compensate us accordingly.I have used their services multiple times before and have always been satisfied – but in this case, I feel misled. When the towers were open and functional, there is absolutely no justification for why we were denied access to a service we had paid for.We were misled by both the package description and the inflated ticket price – which is deeply disappointing.I cannot recommend this service based on our experience, or at the very least, I urge others to be extremely cautious and double-check what is actually being offered and delivered.
