I have had the worst experience with Yahoo Mail I've ever encountered today. A little backstory is that I cleared the cache of my browser and wiped out all the passwords I had saved. So, I go to check my email and have to enter my credentials this time. No problem. After entering my username and password now Yahoo wants to verify my identity and wants to send a verification code to a phone I no longer have. My second option was to try using an alternate email. Well, I go over to this account and the email wants to also send a code to the same phone I no longer have access to. On top of being frustrated at this point, I decided to call the 800 number. The useless rep couldn't verify my identity, even after I gave him my driver's license photo front and back, a selfie, 3 names of folders from my Yahoo email, and who I sent my last email to along with the subject line. I tell you, after all of that and still not being able to verify my identity, I don't think I want Yahoo Mail anymore. Like what are they using to verify identities toilet software? The information I provided and the verification still not working is ridiculous. My information is more valuable than they're letting up and I know what they do with other people's information. I know just who I can talk to about these shenanigans and will follow up with the proper authorities ASAP. I've had enough of being taken advantage of by companies and Yahoo is going to hear from me. I see why they have 1-star reviews. Look at the way they treat their users. I didn't even need biometrics to open the account but you require this to verify an email. Really? Really? Do you think I would be committing fraud if I gave you my ID to verify who I am? What sense does that make? What could you possibly have on file from me that I gave you to compare my driver's license to or verify it with? Exactly...nothing you Losers
