Terrible Customer Service – No Action Taken

I had a deeply frustrating experience with Expedia that has completely damaged my trust in their services.I booked a hotel through Expedia and fully paid for my stay in advance. However, the hotel accidentally charged me again for the stay, despite the booking already being paid through Expedia. I contacted Expedia support, and they assured me that they would contact the hotel on my behalf to resolve the issue and secure a refund.What followed was an extremely disappointing and drawn-out process:After waiting two weeks with no communication from Expedia, I contacted the hotel directly, and to my surprise, they were more than happy to help and processed my refund immediately—no questions asked.Meanwhile, it took Expedia four months to even get back to me. I only found out that they never contacted the hotel at all when I reached out to the hotel myself.This experience was not only time-consuming but also completely frustrating. I was misled and given false assurances, and ultimately, I had to resolve the issue myself. It’s shocking that a company like Expedia, which promises customer support, failed to provide any real assistance.Given this failure, I am now actively sharing my story across platforms to warn others. Avoid Expedia if you expect reliable customer support.
