I'm actually gobsmacked Expedia is still in business their customer service is soooo bad.I contacted them about a safety issue after I war threatened by a staff member at a hotel.. it was plain to see all comms were hand balled to India, a disadvantaged person with no real grasp of the language we were conversing in, and not empowered to help. I've received countless emails that make zero sense, they've taken my money for bookings that didn't exist onsite, incorrect hotel names, and I've been promised hundreds of dollars of credits to 'make up for the inconvenience' none of which have ever showed up.The last straw was them seemingly being hacked (or deliberately passing on details?) by a scam service who had hundreds of their customers on an open email list.I hope they sort themselves out - I swear they were a reputable brand once!In the meantime, do yourself a favour and use booking.com instead :)
