I am an event organiser who threw an event as part of a campaign in AUGUST 2021. The event was successful and Eventbrite managed to have the revenue of over £1,000 sent to an incorrect bank account. As the bank account did not exist, my bank advised that the revenue would automatically be returned to the vendor - as is standard in this country. I have since contacted Eventbrite support by email who have repeatedly insisted - via a standardised message - that I contact my bank which, I have done and been bounced right back to Eventbrite. They now seem to be ignoring my emails and have no means of telephone contact. To be treated with such contempt is infuriating and below what is expected from any business in this country. For a small business to lose that amount of money for such a long period of time can be devastating and they have no consideration for the impact their ignorance has. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM EVENTBRITE.
