Booked an event on 29th July 2022 due to take place August 2022. I purchased the tickets (£323) as a gift for a friend. The event has been postponed twice with no new date scheduled. As I had to purchase an alternative gift I requested a refund in January 2023. 3 months later and still no refund. Repeatedly receive the same email "situation is outwith our control, the money is stuck in America " the entire thing is beginning to look like a scam. How many 1000's are they withholding? My next step is to report them to Trading Standards. I paid for a service that I have not received.
