Enjoyed reading like everyone else but their Unsubscription procedures are the most irritating and infuriating I've seen. I was going to cancel for 6 months then re-subscribe but now that's not going to happen. They have lost me for life and I'm discouraging anyone from signing up. They're idiots. really no need for this. Top Tip: get the cancellation confirmation email from The economist then cancel your Direct Debit at your bank. That way they can't take anymore and they can't reasonably bill you.
