I was overcharged, complicated subscription process

I was overcharged and subscription service is made in a very complicated manner.1) I have created an account and ordered a subscription with credit card details passed.2) There was a success response from The Economist, but I couldn't use subscription for unknown reasons. When logged to account I saw a possibility to buy subscription, which I already did in my previous step.3) After couple of days, another email with success greetings is sent saying your subscription will start from Jun 5 only... Shouldn't this info be in the first email to begin with? Why do you inform me only after two days? And why doesn't subscription service start ASAP I order it?4) Finally I got charged 24GBP instead of 12GBP advertised...Issue was fixed afterwards, still process needs big improvements
