The Economist retains the status of trusted agent in an age of media malaise and the erosion of investigative journalism. Sadly, The Economist has also declined since the days of Saddam’s invasion of Kuwait, when the Economist Intelligence unit predicted world events with uncanny accuracy. I hope you are able to resuscitate this vital branch of your group, so you remain relevant and don’t end up on my growing list of cancelled subscriptions. I am looking for fact based insights that inform my investment decisions. Anything less is a waste of my valuable time.
