The buyer agreed to my 'buy it now' price and I also agreed to it, sending several replies saying such. However Ebay chose not to send the replies on to the buyer.I don't sell much on Ebay, or other web sites. It appears, to me, Ebay are only interested in you buying from companies who sell a lot through them and not in individuals occasionally selling something. The buyer has now contacted me and Ebay have charged him £26.70, or thereabouts when I agreed to £25!They charged him via 'paypal' despite me stating in the advert, payment on collection!I have no PayPal account and do not want one. Then Ebay contact me and ask I give a 3rd party permission to access one of my bank accounts so I can be paid the £25.So where does £26.72 come from?Naturally, I give no permission for the 3rd party to access my account. What are Ebay up to?I will now cancel any listing I have with them to sell an item and I'll never list with them again. They have completely lost any faith I may have had in them. To be honest when it comes to selling an item, I have no faith in them and based on this negative experience, I suggest you do not either.
