Games acquired through steam are forced to launch through the ea app, except: woops! The ea app simply won't launch them! For one of them it's giving me a message about cloud storage being full (though I never had it enabled in the first place and it isn't showing me a way to empty it out) and for the other it just crashes with no explanation. wish i could give -5 stars honestly :)
