My husband gifted his 100 year old mother EA's Scrabble. She recently died so he notified the company numerous times to suspend her account. Crickets. It took filing a dispute with AMEX to get action. Today he received an email that, in order to officially close her account, he needs to send them a copy of her death certificate, a copy of his birth certificate to prove that he was her son, and a copy of his driver's license. All for a $16.32 charge. This is sick.
