Stay away from Duolingo! The app was good, but it froze after 5 1/2 months of use. Nothing I did helped, so I emailed Duolingo at least once a day for 10 days asking for help. They did not respond. I asked for the balance of my year-long subscription to be refunded. No reply. I initiated the arbitration process, as per their terms of service agreement, by sending them a Notice of Claim via email and certified mail. They never responded. In short, they sold me a defective product, did not care that it broke, and had no intention of refunding my money.
