I can't say enough bad things about Dropbox

I can't say enough bad things about Dropbox — if I didn't have a lot of files I need to host for a lot of people, I would pull the plug in a second. The UI is terrible, unclear and illogical — and hasn't been upgraded to a more helpful and user-friendly since it first started. The basic Mac Finder OS has had three times as many options for how to sort your files, for example, almost 40 years ago — and a ten year old could figure it out in a half-hour. Dropbox has features I will never understand. Take this as a bizarre token of how lame Dropbox is. Let's say you're getting near your folder size limit, so you decide to see which big folders could go. But..... the "calculate all sizes" option (which is ordinarily visible if you can find it buried in an option box) isn't showing up at all! Did it move? Why isn't it there Well, it's because in addition to having all those FOLDERS checked so you could sort them all by size see what's too big, it turns out you have a FILE checked as well. That's right. Dropbox will not calculate the sizes of your folders if you happen to have just one little 2KB file checked off as well. Do they tell you that? No. Do they explain why? No. Have they fixed this bizarre and epic fail? Nope! Why should they? Dropbox is full of bizarre stuff like this. A lot of times, you log onto a shared folder to see which files have been newly uploaded, right? Well, you can't. You can only see which files have been *modified* recently. So let's say you want to go on and download the folders that your client *just* uploaded. Well, you can't — unless that folder was also *just* modified. No way to sort otherwise. Or...... uh-oh! You get an alert saying your Dropbox has been suspended! No explanation given! That's because — after you hammer away at their 99%-useless customer service chat bots — you are told there have been more than 20 GB of downloads within 24 hours.. OMG, 20 GB, run for your lives!! The suspension, you also finally learn, is only for 24 hours — but still, it's totally ridiculous. 20 GB is nothing! Seriously —this company has one basic purpose — hosting files — and they can't even do this remotely right. I have lost files. I have have files deleted for no reason. And it's expensive, on top of all that! And I would launch a whole separate comment on their phenomenally awful customer service but I'm keeping the memories blocked.
