Google recently pushed a software update to Pixel 4A phones severely limiting the battery life to the point of making the phone useless They offered 3 compensation options.- Battery Repair (Not available in my area)- $100 Google Credit (with a bunch of hidden caveats)- $50 cash refundI initially took to $100 Google credit, and then realised it was restricted to new Google Pixel phones only, and the phone could not be discounted on their store already. Their store is woefully uncompetitive and you can find the phones significantly cheaper at other retailers. After realising this I contacted supported to change to the cash option. They initially promised to honour the change to a cash refund before deciding they can't do this.Support continue to offer no assistance and just seem to be trying to frustrate me into giving up.
