I’m the delivery guy for doordash. This is my temporary part time job. There are a few things I don’t like about them. 1/ The app was frozen a few times within the last 7 days. Once it’s frozen, I could not accept the delivery offers and they used it to against me(rating). 2/ They don’t pay good. For example, the average pay I could earn after working with them for a bout 7 days was about $10/hr (tips included) before gas, car maintenance and insurance expenses. My state, they pay $10/hr as a minimum wage. Most of the time they paid between $2-3.5$ for about 7-mile (one way trip-from the location I accepted the offer to the store, then to customer’s address). If the customer didn’t give tip(s) (which about half of them didn’t), then that’s what I earned. 3/ Their customer support people are not in the U. S. Therefore, I had a communication issue with them. One time, they just hung up the phone when I disagreed with all 3 answers because the answers were not true, in other word, those answers did not match with what I knew and what the store employee and the customer told me.
