Depop takes a huge chunk of money. I sold an item for 8$ and since depop wants to take two types of fees plus the shipping, I made a dollar and a few cents from that sale. It’s pretty sad. Mercari is awesome because they say they take 10% (like depop says) but you make more money in mercari because they don’t take a lot away. I sold an item on Depop for 40$, I made 29$. I sell an item on mercari for 40$, I made 34$ from that sale. It doesn’t make sense that depop charges the buyer for shipping but I also am deducted shipping. They take 10% plus the shipping. Depop always be taking more money, it’s so irritating.
