So they broke my (new) luggage, I didn't realise until I got to the uber, by which time it was too late to report it. So I had to chat online with customer service twice (took 30 minutes) - they eventually told me to call customer service. Of course there is a recorded message that the wait is 40 minutes - just a scam so you don't claim. Terrible service - its a pity because their delta one product is actually good - but there is no differentiated customer service after you have a problem.UPDATE: 45 days later - Delta replied, Erica was super helpful and it was sorted in 1 day. Suggestion - don't make people wait 45 days before you reply to their emails - but in the end a decent outcome.
