Dell customer support is just hopeless. I bought a complete computer and second monitor six months ago, and for the most part it has been fine, but the keyboard is now giving problems, (and the letters are wearing off the keys too). Online help is just some AI automated system that doesn't work very well and in the end told me to phone. Phoning only got me to someone who couldn't understand English, (we had difficulty getting past my name, neither first nor last of which are uncommon in the UK), and it just got worse from there. I tried phoning again, and got a different voice, on a poor quality phone line, and no better command of English. In the end I just gave up; my time is valuable to me, so in the end I just went and bought another (non-Dell) keyboard. My advice is to go elsewhere, don't buy Dell. Or if you do, do it knowing that in practice there is no real warranty or back-up of any sort.
