Coursera requesting payment twice

I bought a Coursera course two years ago (no subscription, just upfront for 1 course). For personal reasons I never go around to completing the course, and now when I wanted to restart the course, I find that they want payment again for me to be able to submit assignments etc. Apparently there's a 180 days limit to complete the course, but my original confirmation email said NOTHING about such a limitation. Shame om them for defrauding their customers.
