A year ago, I enrolled into a program offered by one university outside the US. Long story short, the program is incredibly poorly designed. I found myself 90% of the times teaching myself the material. By the time I realized this I wanted to drop out. But since they don't give any refunds, I thought of not giving up.Lately, the university abroad claimed that I had not taken one course. I was shocked because on my Coursera account it shows as passed and completed. Sent them the evidence, they disregarded it. Told me it was a bug from Coursera. I sent an email to Coursera support with all the info, hoping they can right this wrong, but they ghosted me...I read through Coursera's T&C and the institute's policy and basically I'm out of luck. Any issue must be disputed with the institute and the institute's policy says that I must resolve any issue at their country's court. How am I supposed to defend myself in a foreign country on a language I don't even speak?Sadly, I wasted thousands of my own money. It hurts. I can only move on, please be wary of such programs in Coursera. On this one, you can't even post reviews! I should have seen that as a red flag.
