I found Cheggs customer service number and talked to someone and they were able to refund me immediately. I wish I could give them negative stars. I also wish I would have taken head to their negative reviews but because I used them years ago I decided to take that chance and use them again. Their service used to be excellent and very convienient; especially for college students who are already limited on funds. Im writing this review after contacting Chegg support asking repeatedly asking about my refund for returning my books before the 21 day period. After receiving an email June 12, 2024 saying that my "EARLY RETURN" has be recieved and, "A refund will return to your original form of payment within 5 business days." It is now August 7, 2024 and I just remembered after finishing the course and needing another book that I never saw a refund for my previous return. I double checked my Chegg account as well as my credit card only to confirm that no refund was sent back to me. I emailed the same Chegg Support email chain from when I inquired about it in June. This was the response I got: "I've checked on the status of your books and can confirm that we've received them at our warehouse. You should have received a separate email for each book as it's checked in.We appreciate your patience. Our warehouse is working as hard as it can to get all of these books checked in and the refunds issued. Please allow a few more days for your refund to be processed." Needless to say I am highly upset and I let them know I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and whoever else I can notify.
