My college also uses this program for English and math. It was cool at first because I didn't have to dish out another $300 for a textbook. I am currently taking accounting courses. The books provided do not help, as they do not explain the simple concepts. They give examples in the books, but then ask you to solve for something that wasn't taught in the assignments; they have different terminology throughout the book and work assignments for the same thing. In one instance, even the professor did not know how to solve a problem. In another, they give a completely different formula than the rest of the world and I can't make it work. Also, while working on their practice problems, I was doing the problem correctly (as told by the professor and others), but Cengage kept saying it was wrong (because they added in the wrong item).
