The issue for me is with the design of the text. The text is really tedious as they explain every single little step with graphics with tons of text boxes and arrows everywhere. It slows everything down because the reader has to make sense of the information overload. Step-by-step directions on how to find a feature in the toolbar are not needed for every step of a project! This method actually feels counter intuitive to learning. I highly recommend this company invest in some instructional designers with a background in education and learning methods. The current design of the textbooks is terrible.
