Capterra is the new Yelp. They pay for reviews, and allow companies to pay for reviews.... and they screen negative reviews. I recently received a notification from a business saying they would pay for my review if published on Capterra (even though i didn't use the product, they just randomly emailed me because i was on a distro list somewhere), so i made a review calling this practice out. It was not published. If you want to get trustworthy reviews of a company, please do not use Capterra, or Yelp for that matter.
