While I have thoroughly enjoyed much of Buzzfeed's content outside of their political videos and articles in the past, it has since became clear how biased and twisted they are. They're what I would consider to be quite an evil company with the people they choose to recruit and the messages they try to push, hiding antisocial beliefs behind good intentions.They try to promote a lot of positive ideas such as equality- however they will do this not by empowering what they envision to be the underdog but instead by attacking the one they consider to be on top, regardless of whether they have done anything wrong.You cannot fight racism by being racist yourself, You cannot fight sexism by being sexist yourself. You simply fuel the fire for what little opposition there is to your ideas.Take it from me as someone who falls under a few of these groups you try to "protect", you do more damage than good and in my eyes are a disgusting, cruel and evil company with backwards morals. How can you be so ignorant that you cannot see the correlation between attacking someone by the colour of their face and racism?! Or perhaps you do, and by stirring people up you can make bigger waves and get more attention. Regardless of the reason, please, as someone you actively HARM, rethink what people you recruit and what messages you want pushed under your brand.
