Looks like a scam.Why? Simply because they decided to close our account exactly after letting them know that we're not using their services (or Stripe's) anymore. They claim that the funds from our sponsors will be refunded back to those, but some have been done looooong ago to be possible to be refunded.From what it looks like, they just decided to keep (all or part of) the funds and we have to assume that's the reason Paypal stopped working with them. They rely on Stripe now, who are more tolerant to fraud.
