Booking.com owes me €750. Hotel agreed to refund my early checkout and replied to booking.com’s authorisation email agreeing to such. Since then, booking.com customer service rep (phone and via email) have been incompetent and useless. One was so rude and arrogant (Moses) when I requested to speak to a manager that I hung up. It appears they do not have the sense to read through a case file and follow up like any normal customer service team. 4 hours of calls to booking.com, phone calls to the hotel manager in Lithuania and multiple emails and I am left in a holding pattern of the hotel stating they have agreed to the refund (this has been written in my messages from them on the booking.com website) yet all I get from booking.com in response is that they have not received the authorisation email. Booking.com customer services are abysmal. I am not giving up and will escalate and harass booking.com until I receive my refund.
