I booked a room through booking.com at ever united guest house in Manchester, and the room stunk of cigarette smoke including the bedding the bed was uncomfortable. The kitchen stunk if burning fat and the cooker was caked in grease, worse experience I have had staying in any property and booking.com didn't seem to care and they would not give me a refund for the remainder of my stay because I got there late I stayed for one night and left at 6am the next day. AVOID BOOKING.COM
