Great when it goes the booking goes to plan, but if you have an issue, forget it. I booked a car at San Francisco Airport through Booking.com with Avis, never to use these again. After dropping the vehicle off, on time, I have been hit with extra charges $158.00, OK $85.00 was fuel, but the rest ?. I payed £221.00 ( todays Exchange rate $300.00 ish) Avis Exchange rate came too $ 247.00, plus toll costs, I didn't use the tolls, plus some strange local taxes, by booking said all taxes covered.
