I am absolutely furious with the way Booking.com has handled my recent experience. They cancelled my hotel reservation a day before without my consent just as I was about to board a flight, leaving me stressed, stranded and scrambling for last-minute accommodation.At first, they wrongly blamed me, claiming the cancellation was due to “inappropriate activity” which was completely untrue. After I chased them for over 2 week, they finally admitted it was a system error on their part, yet still they have offered no formal apology, don’t respond to emails and I am still owed over £30 of my refund.The stress, inconvenience and lack of accountability are completely unacceptable. Booking.com needs to do better. I will seriously think twice before using them again and I urge others to be cautious too.
