I’m leaving this review on Booking.com’s Trustpilot profile because I found out that Booking Holdings owns Rentalcars.com, and I believe Booking.com should be held accountable for what happened.We booked a car through Rentalcars.com with TransPay (Reservation number: 610227261). When we arrived to pick it up, we were told the car had already been given to someone else and that there were no vehicles left. We were left completely stranded.When we asked for a refund, they told us we would receive €0. Nothing. No car, no support, no refund.I trusted Rentalcars.com because it’s part of Booking.com, a name I usually associate with reliability. But even with that connection, we were completely abandoned.This feels like a scam, and Booking.com should take responsibility for the behavior of the companies under its umbrella. I’m extremely disappointed and urge others to be cautious.Booking, do better.
