Child injured, 16-hour power outage, Booking.com refuses accountability

Review: Apartment Beaubourg, Paris, FranceSAFETY HAZARD WARNING: My daughter was burned by scalding water that could not be regulated on our first day. This should have been grounds for immediate action and a full refund.Instead, our nightmare continued:Day 1: Scalding shower injured my child, broken fixtures, foul bathroom odorsDay 2: Complete power outage at 11 PM lasted 16 HOURS with zero response to emergency calls16 hours without AC, WiFi, phone charging, or hot waterForced to choose between loud nightclub noise (until 2 AM) or suffocating heat with windows closedDay 6: Lockbox failed at checkout, management unreachable until we were driving to airportBooking.com's response? "We've forwarded your complaint to the property owner and must wait for their response to issue any refund."A child's safety should not require property owner approval. This accommodation was uninhabitable and dangerous, yet Booking.com continues to prioritize property profits over guest safety.We checked in on 6/11 and checked out on 6/16. Currently, 12 days waiting for resolution while they hide behind "we're just the platform" excuses. Completely unacceptable for a company that collected our payment and marketed this as safe family accommodation.
