I don't necessarily agree that they are perfectly unbiased, sometimes they sway to the right other times to the left.BUTI have total respect for the boycotting of the Qatar world cup, as individuals and groups of individuals (such as BBC) we should be ensuring Human Rights. Over 6500 people died building the structures for the Qatar world cup. This number is devastating, and for what? Do you really, in your heart of hearts believe that your enjoyment of some football matches is worth the suffering and lives of humans?I think it is time we reflect on our values. Reflect on our expectations to have what we want, when we want it at the expense of other humans. I think many people don't have mal-intentions, but too often we have been able to access what we want without facing the truth of how that has come about. I see these acts as a stepping away from that and a step towards more awareness, living aligned to the morals we know are right.
