Despite the Johnson administration placing dedicated Tories in key positions in the BBC (yes they did, check for yourself) and deluded right wing trolls trying to belittle its reputation here, the BBC along with the Guardian are still the proven two most truthful media sources of news and information in Britain. However, I bemoan the degradation of socially aware comedy on the BBC, which is why I am giving it four instead of five stars, citing for instance the loss of Mock the Week, and hopelessly ill conceived constructs such as The Skewer, which if you can bear to listen right through the program, will not cause you to laugh or even smile over the canned laughter following various inane statements substituting for jokes, and for instance John Holmes' more recent substitute for a comedy programme, The Naked Week, presumably also constructed for those who find the Guardian a difficult read, such as those here moaning the BBC is controlled by lefties, because they don't like truthful reporting in place of right-wing spin, so why are they listening to the BBC instead of GB News, which would reinforce their deluded prejudices? Right, that's enough of a rant for today, now I'm off down the road to visit the Glastonbury Frost 'Fayre', and of course to get my Gwydion's Moon Diary for 2025 while I'm in Glastonbury!
