The checkout system is flawed. I had a gift card, went through the whole thing and spent $3 above the gift card balance, so I tried to use my credit card for the remainder. It errored on the credit card info. I verified the card information, resubmitted, it errored again. I I switched to PayPal and resubmitted, but the system then gave an error for the phone number. I opened and saved the phone number info again (without changing any info), then resubmitted. Then it said PayPal did not approve so I had to go back in and reverify PayPal. Then I resubmitted and it told me my gift card balance was zero. Well, it was an unused gift card that I had just confirmed had $50 on it. So I contacted support. They said it would be 1-3 days until it was fixed. Once the gift card balance was restored, I went through the checkout process again. Again the phone number errored. Please keep in mind, this was all saved information to my account from last time. So I fixed the phone number, again (by not doing any changes, just opening the edit and clicking save). Then re-verified PayPal, again. THEN finally the order submitted.That is way too much effort for an online book order. I do not plan to use the online system again.
