Unacceptable Service That Puts Lives at RiskAT&T has completely failed my 88-year-old father-in-law, who lives alone and relies on his landline as his primary form of communication. His phone service went out on May 5, and as of May 16, it is still not working.We first contacted AT&T on May 12 and were told the repair would be completed by May 15 at 10:15 AM. That deadline came and went—no repair, no update, no service.I called again on May 16 and spoke with a representative named Revon, who claimed the system showed the repair was completed on May 13. That is simply not true—the line is still dead, and my father remains without any way to reliablycall for help in case of an emergency (he has a cell phone, but service is spotty in his area).This is not just poor service—it’s dangerous. An elderly man living alone cannot be left without access to emergency services for nearly two weeks. AT&T’s negligence is inexcusable. There is no sense of urgency, no accountability, and no respect for the basic safety needs of vulnerable customer.
