DON'T BUY ASUS PRODUCTS! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have bought a laptop from an abysmal german retailer (computeruniverse.net - By the way - STAY AWAY!). I am trying for 4 months to get back either a new-replacement laptop because of DOA or my money back! Since I couldn't find on any means of communication a computeruniverse.net representative and return it back, I had to use my warranty in Greece and I decided to contact the ASUS service here (An ASUS Italy subsidiary). ASUS HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL THE LAPTOP MAKERS AND THEY DO NOT CARE IF IT IS TRUE. Take a look at this:I sent the laptop to them for inspection and they recognized that there was a manufacturing defect and they said they would fix it and send it back to me. More than 30+ days passed. I ended up shouting on the telephone to them and I filed a legal query to a state lawyer for infringing the 30-day repair deadline that is defined by the law. They sent it to me back that very day I filed my official complaint. When I got back the laptop, the screen had dead pixels that weren't there before. I don't know what is happening, I have read that a lot of people find new problems that weren't there once their product comes back from the service. So, I sent it back to them for the second time. They kept it for almost 25 days, and when I threatened them that I would act again employing my consumer rights if they surpassed the 30-day deadline again, they also offered to me the option to give me my money back, which I accepted, while they won't give me back my postage money (45 euros). BUT, I would get my money back up to 30 days after this! (let's say definitely 30 days because they haven't shown signs of cooperation so far). Now, I am at the process of waiting for the refund. After almost 4 months, after more than 50 phone calls, personal time, a lot of inspection, after a lot of paper work and monetary loss, I STILL DON'T HAVE EITHER MY MONEY OR MY LAPTOP. Thank god my masters hasn't started yet. They have caused income loss and potentially they could set my studies back. They are criminally irresponsible!10/8/2019 update: When I agreed to get reimbursed for my product they have told me that I am going to get officially notified in 7 working that a deposit to my account is eminent within the next 30 days, counting from that moment on. More than 10 working days have pasted and today they have told me that, for no rational reason, I have to wait another 10 days until the product, I am now detouched from, reaches to the Netherlands. They are just buying time. I am so angry and bitter about their service.10/11/2019 update: They confirmed that I am going to be reimbushed in 31 days. That is, in maximum 127 days since my DOA laptop has arrived to the local ASUS service center for inspection. I hope they do keep their word and deposit my money within this timeframe. I will update this review accordingly.6/11/2019 update: I finally got my money back from ASUS today. It is the amount that the laptop cost, minus the fees to send it to me from Germany, which was 45 euros. It is then after 121 days, that the repair center got my laptop, that the issue got resolved by refunding me. I have documented the whole story thoroughly. Buyers beware, it will wholly be your own fault if you choose to buy ASUS products and get to need their customers' service.
