Purchased Asus ZenDrive model #SDRW-08U9M-U. Assured by the seller this would work on my Macbook Air model and operating software. Out of the box the drive never connected to my laptop. Yes, I read the instructions. I just called "customer service" and was told the warranty expired, this was a purchase over the pandemic, but was never asked why I was calling. It was explained that because the warranty expired they wouldn't even speak with me. While I wish I had not wasted $35, now I know never to consider Asus for any tech needs which seems supported by the community of reviews and Asus has lost a customer for life, which is a much higher cost.
