I have used ASOS for many many many…

I have used ASOS for many many many years. I’ve just recently been informed that my account is being closed due to my returns and no longer aligns with their current policy - which I have read. I have never been charged for my returns if it was over a certain amount which I wouldn’t have been upset about as fair enough HOWEVER they have not warned me that my return rate is high or more than average. I’ve always kept what fit and was good quality - I will admit I have returned a few things recently due to sizing and fabric quality as a lot of the items were see through, the sizing is not right - I can be one size one minute and the next it won’t fit which it shouldn’t be like this so had to order two sizes and return what doesn’t fit (due to go on holiday) in all honestly I’ve never made an order that I didn’t like - I did just was bad quality or the sizing was off which is a company problem. They’ll still let their influencers return their rubbish clothes though. As it states in their fair use policy - for the small number group of customers who consistently take actions that make providing them with free returns unsustainable, we deduct and retain £3.95 per returned parcel from their refund to help cover the cost of getting the items back to us — I have never been charged for my returns or “high” amount of returns - so why has this suddenly come out of the blue that my account is being closed?? It also gives you information on if you return a certain amount you’ll be charged if you’ve not kept enough AGAIN this has never happened. So why have this information on there if you’re not going to action this? Just a straight ban?? I contacted ASOS which you can only do by their live chat which I questioned why it’s been closed and haven’t been charged for returns or my “high” volume. This was a waste of time as they could only copy and paste the email I initially got lol, obviously aren’t capable of having a conversation. So I asked for a contact email or address for their complaints department - just got another snotty reply to read my email and their policy like I haven’t already done this. I have read somewhere that asos will no longer be running soon so this could be why. Maybe if they actually cared about their customers they would change their sizing and quality to avoid less returns or maybe even warm customers before completely closing their account and maybe start charging as stated above I wouldn’t be bothered however they would have to understand their quality is shocking and to make changes. Anyway no wonder more people are ordering Shein it all comes from there.Just avoid if you need a few outfit choices or fear something may not fit and need to order more than one size. If you usually order branded items just don’t waste your time and order directly through them as ASOS will be the only ones losing out on custom. 🫶🏻
