Had a user 10 years ago and didn’t find asana useful for my use case. Got asana recommended and wanted to evaluate the system again. Asked the chatbot for a trial, but since it was out of office hours, I got prompted to enter my email address, so that someone could contact me. No one ever contacted me.I used the chatbot again, but this time within office hours. Was asked about my email and name and the bot found me a human to talk to. I stated my wish for trial and was asked to tell the company representative my name (again). Referred to the answer I had already given and was then asked questions, unrelated to my wish for a trial, about how many was in my company and how many was expected to use their product. I stated that it was for personal use, but the questions kept coming. Stopped the conversation and ended up wasting my time.Edit: Just received a follow up email, that can be summed up “Hi, we lost you, how can we help your business”, although I told them it would have been for personal use.Based on the reviews here, it seems the energy should be channeled into helping existing customers, and not bother new customers that told them they weren’t interested anyway, due to their extensive questioning.Asana: Help your existing and future customers swiftly with their needs when they contact you, and stop wasting potential new customers time with sales questions that don’t benefit them. You lost a potential customer, that could have recommended your product to “a bigger fish”.
