We ordered an American fridge/freezer from AOL last year and when the delivery van came they brought it through the gate and up the path to the front door. ( I had already got the measurements of the depth of the machine off of their web site and found that the distance between the walls was alright but the 2 tall skirting board corners would stop it going through. So I got the tools out and cut both corners off so it would fit through.) So I said to them you might have to take the doors off as the handles would stop it going through. Anyway one of the gentlemen measured the size of the cardboard box and said it won't go through the opening as it was too small. Now I'm begining to think that these 2 men are not all there as I explained that if they were to take the wrapping off it will fit , but wether they were lazy or just not the full ticket I don't know. So I said leave and me and the wife will do it. So it just goes to show that 2 old age pensioners CAN TO A BETTER JOB THAN THE YOUNGSTERS OF TODAY CAN AND THERE WE REST OUR CASE .
