I purchased the $39 Ancestry kit that they offered around Black Friday &Cyber Monday. They didn’t ask much, just started with my middle name that I used to purchase the kit, and got really strange results. I gave them my first name to search with and they couldn’t even locate me!!! All kinds a various similar names with different spellings, but not ONE SINGLE MENTION OF MY CORRECT NAME BEING EVEN DISCOVERED. I’m 54 years old and have lived around the world literally!! Strange how I can’t be located AT ALL!!!This is a SCAM!! If it weren’t, they would’ve known that my mother’s family came from Germany, however, Ancestry can’t find anything remotely about that! And to make matters worse, two days ago they charged my credit card $99.95 even though my account was CLOSED AND DELETED LAST YEAR!!! I would stay away from this!!!!!!
